In the Trading Activity Log, how is the number of decimal places changed for the Entry and Exit Price? Trading Activity Log shows price with two decimal places. Need to change it to four decimal places. Charting Soybeans and the Price Display Format is ok on the Chart and in Chart Settings. Please Advise. Thanks. |

We see you are using Gain Capital. And we see that the Symbol Settings for ZS are correct. It is set for 4 decimal places. If that is not correct, then follow instructions here to update the Symbol Settings: Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. What is the exact symbol? It could be wrong. Once the Trade Activity Log is displaying that symbol, select Edit >> Refresh Log. The symbol is ZSX8. However, for system testing purposes, I've modified the data file and saved it under a different name. The chart settings remain the same but the file name no longer matches the symbol name. Could this be the problem for the trade log? |

Yes this is the reason for the issue. Therefore, you need to set up new Symbol Settings for it in the Global settings >> Symbol Settings. Refer to: Global Symbol Settings: Duplicating Existing Settings for a Symbol You will want to duplicate the ZS settings. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
