Is it possible to have Sierrachart plot horizontal grid lines on anything other than the increment allowed in scale settings? For example, I would like to plot grid lines at .00, .20, .50, .80 increments. Currently as far as I can determine, I can have it plot .00 and .50. Thanks! |

Hi, I'm interested in this too. I had a look at the link you posted and after 10 minutes, I have no idea what to do. Please can you tell me exactly how to have round numbers show up with a horizantal line. Ex: CL 58, 59, 60, 61, etc Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-12-05 06:38:57

Turn on the Horizontal Grid by going to Chart >> Horizontal Grid >> All Regions (or select a specific region). Refer to the documentation here: Chart Menu: Horizontal Grid (Chart menu) Go to the Scale Settings by right-clicking on the price scale on the right side of the chart and selecting Scale Settings. Enter a value of 1 in the Horizontal Grid Line Increment. Helpful hint to save frustration: RIGHT click on the price column (normally to the right of the candles) >> click scale settings > scale increment (then change the number to whatever you want, like 3.50 points for instance, then) > click Horizontal Grid Line Increment (change the number to whatever you want, like 3.50 points). Now your custom grid lines will be labeled by the corresponding price. Note: If you use the method currently described online at Sierra Chart, you'll do fine on this part: Chart >> Chart Settings >> Scale. (Scale is a tab up on the top horizontal menu and it looks like this: [*Scale].) No prob, but... This next part may stump you: "Press the Scale button." The "scale button" is on the first line of the page and it is not a button in the traditional sense. It is an obscure word at the far left of the first row and it looks exactly like this: (button). Click on that word in parentheses and always remember that a Sierra Chart "button" can sometimes be the word "button" in parentheses. Mahalo, Namaste and God bless you. |
