using old 997 NON-fix connection, with newer version?

I am using CTS FIX sim. Still having more problems than I would like.

Can I install a second copy of SC(997) and be able to use that connection with my newer version of SC?

I thought this was possible. Could you please provide directions? Thank you greatly.

Is this possible? It would be the cure for all the problems CTS FIX users are experiencing. Can you just get rid of FIX alltogether for now? And go back to what works? Need a solution.

The old API had problems for us as well. Not to mention the huge amount of work involved with such a request.

Okay well I'm at a loss. I don't know what to do. Topsteptrader support suggested that I stop using Sierra Chart altogether and switch to T4. Is that what you would suggest too? I would love some guidance and direction. I am paying for a service that I cannot use. I don't even know where the problem lies.

also as I can see the Live CTS Server is more reliable than the Sim Server.

CTS is working on the problem. We heard from them yesterday. One thing they recommend doing is changing the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >>Data Throughput and Buffering to Smart Trade.
