Good Evening, What study allows me to see what the volume was on each previous candlestick? The "volume" study only allows me to see what the volume is on the current candlestick, but not previous ones. Thanks |

You need to use the Relative Volume study for this. Refer to this example that describes what you are looking for: Relative Volume: Displaying Current and Previous Day Volume For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Ok, I should have explained it better. I need the study shows me the numerical, cumulative volume on previous candlesticks. That's all. The previous reply gives me a study hat shows volume as a percentage of the average volume. I don't need that. I just want to be able to slide my cursor over any given candlestick, and see the cumulative volume in numerical value on that candlestick. Thanks

That same study has the ability to display the Cumulative Volume. You need to turn on the Subgraph for that item. Here is the documentation for using the Subgraphs: Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab It sounds like you are having problems with the Chart Values/Crosshairs tool and how to view the information for the studies. You need to have either the Tools Value Window displayed with the Crosshairs, or the Compact Tools Value Window. Also, make sure that the option under Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> Chart Values >> Compact Tool Values Window Shows Chart Region 1 Values Only is NOT selected. The documentation for the Chart Values tool can be found here: Chart Drawing Tools: Chart Values/Crosshair For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

If you just want mouse operated you can use the chart calculator tool, check the volume box on the configuration, uncheck all the others and save it as a tool config. It can show bid ask difference as well, up to you. will show the volume on as many bars as you want.

Another way to do what you want is to use this particular study and have it reference the Volume of the main price graph: https://www.sierrachart.com//index.php?page=doc/StudiesReference.php&ID=134&Name=Cumulative_Sum_of_Study Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
