I need an alert sound that will repeat till I switch it off. Kind of like my alarm clock in the morning that sounds till I am awake and switch it off. Today I was at the coffee machine near my desk, an alert went off, I did not hear it, and by the time I got back to my desk the trade opportunity passed. I switched my alert to 10x (see screenshot) but when testing the sound is only played twice. Not 10 times. Not sure why. But is it possible to have an alert keep going and going till someone switch it off within the alert popup? |

No, this is not supported. Also when testing a sound file it will only play once.

Yes I was not referring to the test button, but when the alert itself was actually triggered. Must have to do with my OS I think. I leave my request as a feature request then. |

Yes I read that. Today it worked fine. I run Sierra Chart on Linux Wine now for a few month's and I think sometimes it may have to do with this. I will keep track of this and if the issue re-occurs I'll do a test on Windows to see if I can resolve it that way. Many thanks for your help and enjoy the weekend :) |

One way to accomplish what you want is to set the alert sound to repeat a large number of times like 100 times. And then you can set up a control bar button for Global Settings >>Clear Alert Sound Queue which can be selected to stop playing the alert. We will add a section to the documentation for this.
