Hi Is there a way to save the study summary colors and share them ? When I send my chartbook + dll to other users, everything is computed correctly but the graphical settings of the summary is lost. for example, the background color, or the quoteboard price up/down colors. Please advise. -- W |

I don´t think so, this would mess up other people´s global settings.

This already exists in SC with charts and is highly useful IMO. You have global settings, like preferred background, but you can also have specific graphics settings per chart. For me, we have the same problem with the study summary (or quoteboards). So maybe the question should actually be : will sierra implement specific graphics settings for study summary in order to have, for ex, one study summary with black background, and another with white background, and the possibility to save and share it. |

There is absolutely 0% chance we would ever do this. That would never ever happen. You just need to set the Study Summary graphic settings through the chart specific Graphics Settings. Additionally, all of the global Graphics Settings are in the Sierra3.cfg file. You will find the information on the files in Sierra Chart under step 5 in the following documentation: Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation: Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation As Alberto has stated, sharing this file will modify ALL of the other user's Graphics Settings. Thank you. I was hoping for this answer. Unfortunately it does not work as expected for me, unless I am doing something wrong. When I set in the study summary graphics settings background, or the quote price change up/down, and share the chartbook with another user or simply another instance of sierrachart the color settings are lost. I must add some are properly shared like the size of the study summary, the adjustment of the columns (wider/less wide...). Bottom line : it is like some of the settings are not properly saved, or a problem on my side I have not identified. -- W Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-06-21 12:44:29

Okay, we really did not look at this closely. We can see the Study Summary settings are not specific to individual charts. We will add that.
