Hi, A study using s_UseTool issue on InfinityAT Sierra version 1764 32 bit, to plot Tool.DrawingType = DRAWING_RECTANGLEHIGHLIGHT;, is no longer plotting anything on chart and sc.UseTool() returns 0. The same study is working fine with standalone Sierra version 1764 32 bit, and was working fine with earlier InfinityAT Sierra versions Please advise. Regards Vivek |

That does not make sense. Check your code carefully. There is no difference between Sierra Chart and InfinityAT Sierra version 1764 32 bit.

Hi, After looking at the sample code scsf_UseToolExampleRectangleHighlight, the rectangles are plotted with Tool.AddAsUserDrawnDrawing = 0. However when I try to plot on an 'external' chart, plot is still happening on the chart where the study is running, ie - Study is running on chart #1, - With Tool.ChartNumber = 2; - The rectangle plot still happens on chart #1 instead of #2. Yes that is going to be the case when the drawing is not a user drawn drawing. The documentation does explain this. Read the documentation.
