Hi there, I overlayed a chart to the main graph. The overlayed is a tick chart which had a high/low study to capture the high and low of a period and it will draw a horizonatal line through it. I have also added a spreadsheet study for trading on this main chart. The problem is the high/low is returned on the scale of the main graph and not the tick chart. Is there anyway around this? I want to do something like if tick> high tick of the day then...do this. But I found that it fails because the high tick is recorded on the main chart's scale? Cheers |

you have to reference the overlay, not the main price graph.. you should be able to find it by scrolling right on the spreadsheet

You need to base the High/Low for Time Period study on the Overlay study that you are using: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ChartStudies.html#BasedOn Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
