A couple of quick questions about the SymbolID message field

Hi, in the process of cleaning up some code for my DTC server/improving efficiency, design patterns ect. The main thing that needs to be improved is the way subscribers are handled. It would be helpful to know some of the rules the Sierra Chart DTC Client uses to generate a SymbolID as follows: -Do duplicate Charts of the same exchange and symbol share a SymbolID? -Do duplicate Market Depth and DOM objects of the same exchange and symbol share a SymbolID? -Do Market Depth/DOM objects share SymbolIDs with Charts using the same exchange and symbol? We apologize for the delay. -Do duplicate Charts of the same exchange and symbol share a SymbolID? A Symbol ID is specific for an individual symbol. It is not related to charts in any way. Additionally, Sierra Chart does not use the exchange member of the DTC protocol. -Do duplicate Market Depth and DOM objects of the same exchange and symbol share a SymbolID? Yes. -Do Market Depth/DOM objects share SymbolIDs with Charts using the same exchange and symbol? Yes. For the record, these questions are in relation to Sierra Chart.
