pc memory managing

my pc memory is full because of the DATA FOLDER OF SIERRACHART called C:\SierraChart\Data (memory= 267 GB) so I have to erase data but I'm afraid I'm been erase data that I need to work SC with.
please help me: what not important data files can I erease?
my question is urgent, thanx

You will want to erase the files with a scid file extension. These are the Intraday data files. Look at the modified date on those files. Any Intraday data file with a modified date that is more than a month old, can be safely deleted.

sorry: why are speaking about "file with a modified date that is more than a month old"? can I not delete files older tha 1-2 days ago?

Yes that should be fine. But if the file has been active within the last couple of days, it would signify that probably you are using it.

But is perfectly fine to delete Intraday data files. If the data is needed again Sierra Chart will just download it.

I have deleted some scid files older then 1 month, but I delete them in the folder: C:\SierraChart\Data directly.
May be I made a damage for my FUTURE work in SC?
