There definitely is no shortcut key for this. You can hide them directly from the chart by following the instructions here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ChartStudies.html#HidingShowingStudy Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. i am aware of this , what i was asking is if i can hide 2 individual studies (from the 4)... at the same time. meaning that not having to go to one study and hide it and after that go to the other study and hide it ... etc etc chart with: study A study B study C study D shortcut key-------> hides BOTH C and D shortcut key-------> shows up BOTH C and D studies for example : at Analysis TAB -----> there is an option which can hide all of the studies in the chart. I would like to hide half of the studies in the chart ... meaning select which of the stydies i whanna hide with one click. Also I already have assinged a shortcut key to hide/enable all the stydies in the chart. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-05-08 19:48:09

The solution to this is to have two different Study Collections, each with the particular study configuration, including the Hidden state, as you require and change between them. Yes i see what you say and thanks for that ... but is there a way to asking to 2 different shortcut keys at each of the study collections so i can quickly change between them? (i edited the previous post at the time of your last answer so you may not have seen it) for example : at Analysis TAB -----> there is an option which can hide all of the studies in the chart. I would like to hide half of the studies in the chart ... meaning select which of the stydies i whanna hide with one click. The only thing that we are willing to do is to add keyboard shortcut keys, for the Study Collections assigned to control bar buttons.

Is it possible to not show the studies added to the chart but the data from them can still be calculated for alerts? I have one set of studies saved and I've shrunk their heights down to as small as they can go because I have an arrow that paints for long or short if all the conditions I'm looking for exist at a given moment. However, if I switch to another set of studies and then re-load the original studies I've set with a very small height - they come back to a normal height and take up a ton of space. I've tried hiding the studies but that prevents the arrow that paints when the condition for the hidden study is true. Is it possible to not show the studies added to the chart but the data from them can still be calculated for alerts? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-06-11 00:11:18

This is how the system works. Hidden studies are still calculated and alerts that are set will still occur. But if the study is setup to draw something based on the alert, then that drawing will not occur as the study is hidden.
