I use the manually drawn volume profiles a lot. My chart scale is set to constant range "manual mode". When you delete a volume profile, the chart jumps vertically up or down every time. Often with the bars completely off the screen. Is it possible that you can fix this so it doesn't move at all after delete? It makes doing market study and review across a variety of instruments so much more tedious than it needs to be. Thank you. |

This does not make sense. We have never seen this and do not know why this would happen. Go to the Scale Settings for the Volume by Price study on the chart and let us know what the Scale Range is set to. Yes it does not make sense, that is why I posted the problem. I think its related to when you scroll into historical data. It will always move vertically some after deleting the first VP. Subsequent VPs do not jump the chart. Sometimes the jump is significant. Please fix, this has been a problem ever since I became a user over a year and a half ago. |

Okay, we understand. It is because there is a scale reset occurring. We will see what we can do with this. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I think this is still unresolved in 1748. I regularly draw VPs on my numbers bars chart and then delete them when no longer relevant and it still jumps every time |

Are you using a Constant Range scale set to Manual?

And how exactly are you removing a Volume by Price study from the chart?

I hover the mouse near the top of the chart, then I go right click - remove - VbP studyname. When I do that then my chart immediately recenters. This chart has a chart DOM on it as it is my main execution interface |

That method will cause a re-centering of the scale.
