In my experience and that of other experienced traders I've read from on the internet, both Rithmic and CQG (and probably DTN) offer the very best quality ES futures data for trading at the fastest speed - I've used them both simultaneously in the past and sometimes it seems that Rithmic is even faster than CQG. So my question is do you guys agree with that assessment and based on your exhaustive analysis, is your new rel-time exchange data feed as good as the one from those two excellent data providers for the ES. Thanks.

The Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed is better than all of them.

Here is the relevant documentation:
Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed

When it comes to speed, completeness of data, historical data delivery, they cannot match what we are offering.

Additionally, in the last 3 months, we have taken the reliability of the data feed and performance to a level that has never existed before.

At this point, we are getting tired of all of them ( the ones you mentioned in post #1). They all suffer problems of different kinds. It does not mean that we are perfect ourselves, but we always do our very best.

We mentioned the performance improvements in this thread:
Performance Improvements with Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed

And one thing we have noticed, with these performance improvements is that we are now consistently day after day after day at 0.0000% packet loss. And our servers are both handling market data for several hundred thousand symbols from various exchanges.

And all of these performance improvements are within Sierra Chart itself because this is our backend software infrastructure. The market data handling with the DTC protocol server within Sierra Chart has been improved. Our user base does not really realize the tremendous performance and capability that Sierra Chart actually has, especially in the area of market data handling.

The processing path is very minimal between the CME and Sierra Chart on a user's desktop, aside from the Internet between our server and the user's computer. The Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed at least in regards to the CME, is an ultralow latency data feed. For other exchanges it is certainly higher like with the EUREX and Hong Kong futures. The latency with those while it is not poor, it is not as good.

And now that we are building an exchange, all of the order processing with Sierra Chart also is being optimized as well.

That is the best news I've heard in a long time!! To me, you guys have always been as good as it gets in the business and that's why I remain a loyal customer.

Going forward, I plan to switch over to running your data on your platform, but trading via Gain Capital - at least that's the arrangement I'm considering right now unless you have a better suggestion for trading service. But how do I set that up when I can only choose one option in your Data/Trade Service Settings window, either Gain Capital/OEC (Trading) or SC Data (All Service) data? If I choose SC Data (All Service) do I need to separately run the Gain Capital trading DOM software on my computer and manage my trades via their DOM - currently I'm a discretionary trader daytrading the ES off your charts through CQG FIX. Thanks.

The answer to this is explained here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#IntegrationWithTradingServices

You will just use the Gain Capital service and receive the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed fully integrated.
