Is there such a stop loss? For example, I am long E6, ES, Gold. Am also short A6 & ZB. Now, i want to exit all positions if my account goes -500. Is there such stop loss for futures & forex? |

Riche, if you have an account with TransAct you can set a max daily loss level. If breached their system closes all positions for you and stops you from entering further trades that day. This exactly achieves your objective and from my experience it works perfectly. However, obviously not the ideal way of closing out - especially if you are trading the 5 contracts you list with only a $500 limit! Other brokers may operate somthing similar |

Thx Marmany! That $500 is just an example of what am trying to do. I want to diversify my trades with limited loss. Sometimes price spike into my SL in one instrument, while the others dont. Now, if only I could get more recommendation from other users or SC Engineers themselves. Need more options for my choice broker here. |

Hello SC Engineers. I don't think there's any platform out there that could provide such a powerful risk management tool. We all know one instrument is correlated to another. One could be stronger than another. So, how can we diversify our trades across these instruments with limited loss. That is, our Stop Loss is set in terms of $$$ value. For example, when all my trades aggregate to a LOSS of $500, all these trades would be EXITED. Thanks ! |
