Can I use a spreadsheet or have a box that shows me new symbols as their alert conditions are satisfied? EX: ___________________________________ TWTR RSI < 30 ___________________________________ Thanks! |

We think probably the best thing to do is to have a look at the Study Summary window. Refer to: Study Summary Window Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks, good stuff.I have multiple alert conditions on a chart and want to bring those alert updates into a study summary. I named each of 4 alerts with a short name. For one alert I get a column in the study summary, but for the other 3 I cant get columns for those alerts in the study summary. It keeps showing just 1 column. Thoughts? Also, what does the displacement mean to the right of the short name. I put different numbers in it hoping to move over a column cause maybe its hidden but nothing seems to happen. Thanks! Make sure the studies are set to be included in the Study Summary: Study Summary Window: Using Study Summary And make sure they each have a different name. Displacement is documented here: Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Displacement Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Thanks, I have tried to insert 2 alerts into a Study Summary Sheet. Two of my attachments show the settings for each. The third attachment is the Study Summary Sheet for only these two charts in this chartbook. The column that has been added is not even the name of either of the two alerts I have added? There are no other charts enabled or open in that chartbook. I reread your material and cant seem to get more than 1 column for my alerts...and the one that is there is not even the right one? Thank you! |

The problem is you need to set the Short Name on the study itself on the Settings and Inputs tab of the Study Settings window, uniquely for each instance you want to see on the Study Summary. The Short Name for the Subgraphs is not relevant to controlling whether the study appears or not. Refer to: Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Short Name Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I have 4 columns of alerts that were brought into a Study Summary Sheet. Can I move the columns to my liking? Ex: current column look - A C D B can I make it - A B C D Also, is it possible to have the Study Summary Sheet pop up the alerts ONLY when they happen, and then leave the Study Summary Sheet at some interval?
