Hi, this week my replays have become so slow it is virtually impossible to run them. Often they also get stuck. Today I noticed SC was using a lot of CPU power > between 20 - 35%. This seems way too high for this app. Do you have any idea what might be going on and if this is connected to my slow replays? Thank you |

This might be because of the Replay Mode. Refer to help topic 30.41 here about this: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.41 - Slow Replay Due To Back Test Modes Otherwise, refer to the other items on that page for other causes. I am sorry, but this is not very helpful. I looked at 30.40, 30.41 and 30.37, but it doesn't help me find the cause because none of these seem to be happening in my case. Also, I am in Win10 and the image you show in section 30.37 is from Win 7 I think. I have none of the events described in these sections happening. I run a pretty fast pc with I7, 32GB and 1TB SSD. Only 2 charts, 1 symbol. The pc I use is dedicated for trading, no surfing, no additional programs installed. I can open any dialog window, causes no problem. My replay mode has to be 'Accurate trading system back test mode' since I am testing for auto trade system. Last week my replays flew through at speed 100000, after the weekend suddenly super slow, like 2 min at the time. Any other suggestions? |

It does not matter the particular operating system version you are running. You really have to go through this with a process of isolation. Remove all studies from the chart and just replay one chart and see if there is an improvement. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
