can anyone tell me if the shades on the chart below are made with the "time range highlight" study?
is there a possibility to automatically change the highlight periods depending on the bar period?
eg: if I have 1min chart I would like to have hours highlighted. if I have a 60min chart I would like days highlighted. switching the chart to a dayly I might want to highlight weeks or monts. Is that possible?

it looks like they have it set to highlight extended hours.. time range highlight is set based on a set time (ex: 08:30:00 - 15:14:59) so no it wont automatically change based on your time frame

well, second post tells me, that time range highlight is based on a fixed time and so wont change automatically on change of bar period.
so my question is, is there a possiblity, that when eg I look at an hourly chart I have vertical lines separating each day. and when I change the same chart to a daily one, the vertical lines should automatically change to eg weekly lines. and probably when changing same chart to minute one then make hourly vertical lines.
thx!

from what i know about how SC codes the platform, most of the features are static and not dynamic like you are talking about. and i dont know of any studies that would do this either. the closest thing i could think of would be to use vertical grid lines and set the settings to pixels through chart settings > advanced settings 2 .. that wont be placed in certain areas like every hour/day though
