You either have malware on your system, or you are misinterpreting some support page as being from Sierra Chart when it is not.

What is the website address you are referring to? There are no pop-up ads on the Sierra Chart website at all.

in Sierra I click on HELP (open in Firefox)
then click on SUPPORT
then CONTACT
the website is (I'm not going to put the entire URL because my spyware blocks it and I don't want to share it)
lnksr.com with a long string after it and Trend Micro blocks it, but sometimes it pops up anyway and flashes all kinds of ads
the only thing I run on that computer is IB and Sierra Chart, no email, nothing but trading

this is without having logged in, so maybe that's the problem, but it seems to be associated with my accessing the Sierra Chart dot com site

We went to Help >> Support and then went to Support >> Contact on the website. This is the webpage you will be directed to:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/support.html

It is quite clear you got malware on your system. You have to run a scan on your system and clean off the malware.

I regularly run, and just ran again, a hypersensitive full scan with Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security and found nothing. Is there something else I should do?

Not sure. We can tell you, our website has no malware on it. And if you are being directed to a different website domain, then something is wrong with your web browser or malware is causing that. Sierra Chart will not do that.

Or it could be that your ISP or DNS server is redirecting you to a different domain. This is certainly possible. So there could be an externally caused problem.

I uninstalled Google Chrome and Firefox. I also found Yontoo and read that it was a malware, so I uninstalled that too. Now when I try to bring up support on Sierra Chart I get the following. X this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel.
