downloader not updating pre-release automatically

Hi, since updating to the 64bit version I try to download the pre-release software update which works fine, but when I ask to update to the new version the software closes and nothing happens. The only way to work around this is to go straight to the sierra folder and manually start the update by hitting the downloader file. Can anyone explain why this process is not automatic anymore? Ta

I've had the same issue since the 64 bit updates for what it's worth.

We cannot reproduce this on Windows 7.

Actually we just realized, that you cannot see the Message Log at this time because Sierra Chart is exited.

We need you to enable this option:
General Settings Window: Save Message Log to File (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Log >> Log)

And then provide us the message log file.
