If there's a conflict between default order quantity, order quantity in the dom and the chart quantity, which would take precedence when one is placing an order from the chart? Thanks

The order quantity on the Trade Window and the quantity you see at the top left of the chart are always going to match.

That is going to be the quantity which is always used.

Thanks, is there a way to have the same quantity number in the linked charts? I used the settings discussed here Dom/trade window request but when I change the quantity on the dom attached to one of the charts, it does not change the quantity on the other linked chart.

We are not going to make reference to that thread. It sounds like you want to use Trade Window linking:
Working With Charts: Chart Linking

Make sure you enable the Trade Window linking option on the destination chart.
