Hi, I have 2 instances running with different connections. On one of the connections I'm sending trades to a broker but do not have full data depth on the DOM. I am getting it from the other instance of sierra. To get this to work on 64 bit, I'd have to go in and update the Symbol and Trade and Current Quote symbol everytime I open sierra because otherwise I do not get the data from the other instance correctly. Wanted to clarify that both instances were running 1708. Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-02-28 09:21:29

We are not understanding what the issue is. Are you saying that the Trade and Current Quote Symbol setting in Chart >> Chart Settings is not saving? Also the 64-bit version functions the same as a 32-bit version and there would not be any difference in behavior involving that setting. No the Trade and Current Quote symbol are getting saved. I don't think the issue is related directly to the 64 bit because I had the issue on 1705 too. Basically the symbol settings don't get loaded correctly from the right instance so I think the issue is in the saving of the instance settings. But this mostly happened when I changed the versions. I get incorrect symbol data, then change something from the chart settings and after a while it worked. On 1708 I didn't manage to get it to work but will try to do the upgrade in the future.

With what you are doing you must manually set the Chart Settings as you require: Chart Settings Sierra Chart is not going to obtain Symbol Settings from another instance.
