I know SC is not able to utilize multi core processors on one instance. If i use File>>New Instance, will the calculations within the sub instance be routed through the same thread(s)/core as the main instance? (in which case i would not gain any performance increase) if so, can i install a second installation of SC and call that second installation to help spread the load across a newer multi core processor? I have one transact futures account, and i pay for my own license to SC (I don't use the transact provided version). Tried to find support on the board, but didn't find what i was looking for, but feel free to point me to anything that exists. |

Hi, it is possible to use thread(s)/core from sub-instance to increase performance for BackTest in main instance. Or use thread(s)/core from main instance to increase performance in sub-instance? If yes, then how? Thank you. |
