Hi Team,

I'm successfully testing the new trading alert in subject but I have only one issue on it for the way I need to use it that is as follow:

Sell Order is filled>ok
Buy limit order filled>ok

Now a continuation of the sell signal or a new signal come in and the system is automatically opening a new position> that is not ok.

Is there any possibility for you to add a command field to avoid this?
Right now the only possibility is to set the Allowed q.ty the same amount of the max long and short trades per day but this means than you have to re-enter i.e. reactivate the system manually only in a timeframe where ther's no any signal.
thx

Update to prerelease 1705:

Software Download: Fast Update

If the Alert Formula continues to return true there will not be any attempt at a new order signal. But in any case the Automated Trading management will block it if there is a Position or working order anyway.

Hi Team,

I updated right now to 1705 I saw some new fields as per screenshot attached and of course set a time range in which the system has or has not to work is a useful function.
Well for the entry the situation remained the same if the allowed q.ty per day is greater than the q.ty per trade logn/short, then if a signal comes 1 min after you exit the trade a new order is filled.
So I suggest two simple way to solve it choose the one that is easy and less time consuming for you:

1) A button on the screen to say enable/disable trading without having to open the studies to put no on the enable/disable field i.e the external button should refer to all the strategies active on the charts.

2) A field in the study that let fix a time (like you have done for the day time) or simply a "pause" button to let the trader look at the chart and understand if the continuation of the signal is "safe" or i.e. we are close to a mean reverse and the entering of the order will have high probability to get stopped out.Of course I'm working to refine the my strategies to avoid this to happen but exiting before the end is recommended in this algo markets so in anuy case a portion of the trend will remain in TRUE signal until a reverse will come.

Thx for support

Alberto

Refer to:
Enabling and Disabling Automated Trading

It is also possible to add a Control Bar button for enabling and disabling automated trading for the chart. We are adding documentation for that.

Ok I read the istruction I'm able to set a color and image of a button that is easy but I don't find how to set up a button under Trade >> Auto Trading Enabled - Chart menu command to easily enable and disable Automated trading for the chart which contains automated trading studies. Refer to Customize Control Bar .

When I go under global settings>customize chart trade menu I don't find any button to configure as attached image.

If I go under customize button I can do the graphic customization but not the link to the function can you help me please?

thx
