In the last 24 hours or so, I have not been able to successfully submit any orders to bitmex. Also, the position size reflected in SC is not accurate. Also, oddly the trade service in SC had changed to SC Data - All Services. I'm pretty certain I did not update that setting. Nonetheless, I switched it back to Bitmex (trading), and still I cannot submit orders, etc. I am on the latest version. I am getting this error: BitMEX order update (Order update). Info: Order Error - Order timed-out waiting for response from service/exchange server. Internal Order ID: 952xxx. Service Order ID: 1661xxx. Symbol: XBTUSD-BMEX | 2018-02-03 09:59:52 * |

One update: I noticed that some of the orders do actually make it bitmex. But in SC they will show the above timeout error.

We have let BitMEX know about this. Also you do not need to hide these order ID numbers, they are completely meaningless to anyone else. They pose no security risk whatsoever. Even a trade account identifier does not pose any security risk at least from our perspective. It is not usable in any way. And if it were usable, that would be something that the exchange/ trading service would have to address. The trade account is no different than a bank account number. Bank account numbers are not secret. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. I can place an order, and it will go to the exchange. But, the order is never confirmed as received (ie, it times out in SC). And after it gets filled it is never reported to SC either. So basically, I am seeing a one-way road of communication from SC to bitmex.

Yes we are hearing about a lot of BitMEX problems now. BitMEX has been made aware of this. The issues are on their side.
