My problem is simple but I do not know how to remedy it. I cannot get my P/L Dialogue Box to show in US dollars and cents. It is showing in "P's" which is points. Can someone please tell me how to show my P/L in simple US dollars. I tried to follow the various directions, but it seems like it leads to more directions and I am on direction overload. I need to get this resolved because I am in a trading combine and my time is at a premium. Sierra Chart Support |

Greetings, I apologize for the late reply. Yes I did set the P/L to currency value in the chart settings. The symbol I am trading is Crude Oil, for November 2013 which is CLX13. In my Trade DOM the P/L box near the order entry buttons is still showing in Points. I would like it to show in $USD. I did add the P/L column to my DOM so I can keep track of it in the DOM, but it too is also registering as "P" for points instead of dollars and cents. When you have a chance, please respond and let me know what to do next. I would like to resolve this asap. Thanks again and look forward to your response. Good morning, I followed the directions suggested and left-clicked on the top of the column to adjust the P/L and I got no response. I right clicked, double clicked, left clicked again, nothing. When you have an opportunity, let me know what to do next. Thanks, much appreciated, James |

Hi, I have another question that may seem stupid. Do I have to have a chart open to make these DOM adjustments work? I am just trading from the DOM for the combine, and I don't have a crude oil chart open. Would that help ? jb |

No, you do not need a chart open and this is not making sense. There should be no trouble with changing the Profit/Loss format. We did try calling. Go to the Trade DOM and select Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 2. What is the Currency Value Per Tick set to to?
