I am running a trading system in the Excel Spreadsheet for trading. I am using about 5 or 6 differnt formulas that run together as one trading system. I have just recently noticed that if I move the formulas around in their postioning within thye trading system, I am getting very different results. I do not understand what is happening and I am open to all suggestions. Might the formulas be running in some type of order? I do not see any cross referncing errors so I am really confused.

Since no specifics are given, my suggestion is to start at MSDN. Here is a link to calculation performance in Excel 2010. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff700515%28v=office.14%29.aspx There are some really good tips in MSDN, sometimes more than helpful! Additionally you should check your Excel settings for "Calculation Options". As an aside, you might surf around the web using "excel recalculation" as keyword(s). HTH |
