I am running an Excel Spreadsheet trading system and lately I have been having problems in the execution of the formulas. I have linked (,) together various single formulas using "AND" with "OR". I am using maybe 4 to 8 distinct and separate formulas that make up my trading system. I have noticed lately that certain of the formulas fail to work and only when I "cut" and paste the formula to the beginning of the trading sequence will the formula once again trigger trades. Is there an inherent hierarchy to Excel formulas or do I have another problem type. Many Thanks

Make sure you do not have any circular references. Those inherently are not going to work properly. In the new spreadsheets we are developing, circular references are not allowed any longer. Otherwise, you need to provide us a simple example as possible which does not work. We need detailed step-by-step instructions and a spreadsheet file. However, it is very very doubtful there would be any problem with the evaluation of formulas and it is something we would not be able to solve anyway because the current spreadsheet component in the CLR version is not developed by us. We are working on new spreadsheet functionality that we do have control over which is becoming available in the non-CLR version. However, it is still new and under development. I used the formula you sent to me in an earlier "Answer" and it worked quite well to disable auto trading in the spreadsheet - Cell J28, Disable Auto Trading. My question now is that once Auto Trading is disabled, how do I flatten the current on-going Trade - Cell J29, Flatten and Cancel Working Order? Many Thanks

Once auto trading is disabled, it is not possible to flatten a position.
