Hello Sierra Some time ago, I had issues with price Data simply disappearing and just leaving a value of 214748 in the top right hand corner of the particular chart concerned. This problem went away, but since your last update has reappeared and I have lost a number of charts in the last few days that needed rebuilding. Rebooting of Sierra makes no difference. The event happens whenever I have just conducted an action on the chart - particularly if I change the view. It does not matter what Symbol I'm in either Can you help please? - PLEASE FIND ATTACHED SCREEN SHOT Thanks - Mark |

There must be something you are doing to cause the scale to include and show that value. We need specific details of what you are doing which is leading to this. Just go to the chart and select Chart >> Reset Scales. This is all you have to do. You never have to create a new chart. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hi Sierra Thanks for your response, I will try that when it occurs again. I tried many methods but I don't remember that one This happens in all kinds of modes, though it happens more so when changing views from Tile Horizontally to Vertically etc; there is not one specific action, occasionally, I only have to click on the chart for it to do it Thanks. Don't waste any more time if you don't think it can be easily sorted Cheers - Have a good Xmas Mark |

We do not see how using Tile Horizontally or Tile Vertically would cause this. Or even left clicking on the chart. We have never seen this behavior ourselves. Sometimes we wonder if it is an operating system-level fault returning some kind of invalid coordinate data for the charts. That would be the more likely explanation. Hello Sierra It did it again this morning (same value - 214748). This time it was after changing from Intraday to Historical and again almost immediately after changing View to Tile Horizontally I tried your suggestion of CHART > RESET and it worked I'm please to say. Thanks - I'll live with it - You have a great tool and you are obviously trying to make it a better tool every day, so 'glitches' like this will happen, I accept that Have a great Xmas Don't waste any more time on it Cheers - Mark |

This should never happen under any circumstance. We suspect the issue might be at the operating system level but what we need to do is get your Chartbook and then we will go through this procedure that you describe and see if we can reproduce. You can attach the Chartbook by following the instructions here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
