Hello Support, i would like to know if it is technically possible to define an alert when these 2 conditions are met ? UP BAR + NEGATIVE DELTA or DOWN BAR + POSITIVE DELTA ? (Please see attached screenshot illustrating the first situation.) Besides, i wanted to have confirmatinon that it is nearly impossible to have a countdown on a rangebar chart, right ? It is not possible to have any clue when a period on a footprint will end. Thanks ! |

You can certainly write an Alert Formula to accomplish this. Refer to: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning You will want to use these special functions to access the Volume at Price data: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Special Functions And refer to: Numbers Bars: Referencing Numbers Bars Calculated Values Subgraphs in Alert Formulas Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Refer to the response above. Besides, i wanted to have confirmatinon that it is nearly impossible to have a countdown on a rangebar chart, right ? It is not possible to have any clue when a period on a footprint will end. The Countdown Timer does work with Range bars, but it does not indicate when a new bar will start unless you use this Bar Period Type: Chart Settings: Intraday Chart Bar Period >> Bar Period Type >> Range Per Bar - New Bar on Range Met (in ticks) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
