This is more an annoyance than something that prevents the system from working, but when I shift between chartbooks, some of my minimized charts restore to the positions they were in before they were minimized. These charts are usually open simply so I can have an overlay on other charts, so they're of little use on their own and then must be minimized again. It's annoying and time consuming. On a related note, did I read that you plan functionality so that if a chart is open, even in another chartbook, it doesn't need to be opened in the active chartbook to do an overlay? Thanks! |

Update to the current version of Sierra Chart: Software Download: Fast Update The other thing is to make sure this option is disabled: General Settings Window: Destroy Chart Windows when Hidden (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Application GUI) On a related note, did I read that you plan functionality so that if a chart is open, even in another chartbook, it doesn't need to be opened in the active chartbook to do an overlay? I've loaded the current software and the destroy charts windows box on the General Settings 4 page was checked (I don't recall when I'd done that). But I've seen no effect or change. The minimized windows were restored and had to be minimized again. Still, they restored on their own. Any other thoughts? |

Most likely this is a Windows 10 issue. We are not able to reproduce it on Windows 7. If you do switch to a Chartbook where all of the charts are minimized, one of them will restore. But only one of them. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
