Hello, i would like to know if you have a function which flattens (exits) all or certain positions at a defined time. Lets say i have a Long Mini DAX positions at friday but i want to close it by time automatically before the exchange closes to avoid holding overnight or over weekend. All the best! |

The only question is how exactly? :) You will need to study the documentation for the Spreadsheet System for Trading study and use a formula to submit an order based upon time. However, the suggestion given in post #4 will be much easier but it applies to all current Trade Positions. So in that case, use the Global Profit/Loss Management feature: Global Profit/Loss Management Here is the specific section: Global Profit/Loss Management: Flatten Positions at Set Time Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. You can use the Trade Activity Log or, if Sierra Chart has not been closed, you could use the Orders and Positions Window. Refer to: Trade Activity Log and: Trading Information Windows: Trade Orders and Positions Windows For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

The Trade Activity Log page linked above does discuss missing order fills. You should use the CTS low cost connection model so you do not miss any order fills: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/CTS_T4.php#SetupInstructionsForAdvancedLowCostConnectionModel Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
