I probably overuse the alerts feature, and my alerts log gets large/long very fast. I'm wondering if there's a way to feed the file to a database for sorting but I don't see a file that is created. I see a log can be manually created, but I'm wondering if there's a way to access a file without the manual step.

Thank you. So is there no way to populate a list/database of recent alerts?

We could add the ability for the Alerts Log to be saved to a file. We will do that.

Just following up. I see the option on the General Settings General 4 tab to write alerts to a log file. Where is this file located? |

When the option to save the Alerts Log is selected, the Alerts Log file is saved in the Logs folder under the main Sierra Chart installation location. For example, with a typical installation, this would be located at C:\SierraChart\Logs and is named Alert Log[date time].log.
