Hello,
I have my trading account at InteractiveBrokers but am trying to use another data provider as I see from the recommendations/discussions that there data is "spotty", if you will. Barcharts has been recommended but I have found out that BArChart does not accept IAB verification that I am an non-professional user. Hence I have to pay exchange fees if I use BarCharts, which I should be exempt from as a non -pro. I am trying to migrated over to Sierra from eSignal, and at eSignal I am exempt from these fees and ESignal does interface with IAB to confirm my status. SO what I am wondering is if there is another good data vendor besides Barchart for my data feed that will accept my non-professional status- specifically through IAB

We will contact Barchart for you and get the Interactive Brokers Globex exchange fee waiver sorted out for you. Additionally, in about a month or so, we are going to be offering our own CME data feed that has an exchange fee waiver and it definitely will work with Interactive Brokers. So you may just want to wait for that.

We are also going to follow up with your other posting about real-time data from Barchart. That is a more involved response and review.

From Barchart:

If we are able to confirm with their broker we can support it. They need to be able to provide a contact at IB who can confirm they have an open and funded futures trading account.

The new Sierra Chart CME exchange fee waived data feed is now available:

As long as you connect at least once to your Live account during the month, it is possible to also get this data feed when using an Interactive Brokers paper trading account.
