I currently have my main copy of SC with transact. I just installed another copy to run with IB on the same computer. However, I can't see to have my IB copy live without turning off the transact copy. This is what I get in the message log:

SC Data - All Services | Logon error received from server: Limited to one connection per username for the requested data source. | 2017-11-16 10:41:32
SC Data - All Services | Disconnected from the server. | 2017-11-16 10:41:32
SC Data - All Services | Data feed disconnected. Will reconnect in 2 seconds. | 2017-11-16 10:41:32

Any suggestions?

If you want to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed in both copies of Sierra Chart, then you need to pay for and activate a second connection for that:

Thanks for the response. What if I don't want the SC exchange data feed for the 2nd copy? I'm only using the IB copy to trade. Do I still need to activate a second connection?
