i see this futures contract (/TN) in the Thinkorswim platform...but SierraChart does not seem to see it. any ideas? |

The symbol is ZN and is in File >> Find Symbol.

The symbol is ZN and is in File >> Find Symbol.
This is not correct. ZN is the "classic" 10yr future. TN is the "Ultra" 10yr future. TN (ultra 10yr futures) were introduced in Jan 2016 by the CME. http://www.cmegroup.com/education/ultra-10-year-us-treasury-note-futures.html The difference being, ZN will deliver the Aug-2024 10yr Note (essentially a 7yr pierce of paper), where TN will deliver the May-2027 10yr Note (essentially a 10yr piece of paper). While these are similar, they are indeed not the same. Right now, ZN is trading at 124-20 while TN is trading at 133-16 In other words, these are different securities.
