Using Study/Price Overlay with multiple symbols

Regarding the Study/Price Overlay: I would like the symbol designated in the study/price overlay to automatically change when I change the symbol on the main chart. How do I do this? For example: If the main chart is a CL 15m and I am overlaying CL Daily price data, I would like the CL Daily overlay to automatically change to the appropriate symbol when I manually change the symbol on the 15 min chart. This should be as simple as linking the two charts. However, the issue is that I am using multiple symbols. So when I copy the study set from one chart combination (i.e CL 15/Daily) to another chart combination (i.e. NQ 15/Daily), I have to then change the link...which is just as inefficient as manually changing the setting in the study price overlay. You just need to use the Chart Linking feature and link the Symbol: Working With Charts: Chart Linking So when I copy the study set from one chart combination (i.e CL 15/Daily) to another chart combination (i.e. NQ 15/Daily), I have to then change the link..
This makes no sense. Chart Linking is completely separate from Study Collections.

Is it possible for charts to have more than one link number? for example: I would like all my 15m charts to share common studies (Link 1) I would also like my 15m and daily charts to share the same symbol (Link 2) It looks as though the link number must be unique to each chart. Because of this, I'm still not certain how to link my charts when using different symbols and the price/overlay study. Ideally, I would have a way to replicate the studies on my 15m chart across multiple symbols and not have to manually change the symbol in the study overlay settings. |

I've reviewed the link posted. I still don't have a path forward here. How do I 1) link certain charts with study overlays (i.e. CL 15m/daily and NG 15m/daily) by symbol while also 2) linking charts by study sets (i.e. all 15 min charts or all daily charts) |
