[Programming Help] - Does Autotrade using spreadsheets creates multiple Buy and sell signals in same direction?

Hi, I have a Autotrading System using spreadsheets ('Spreadsheet system for Trading' study) in Sierra chart that uses stochastics to create buy/sell entries for futuree. The system seems to be working except I visually see multiple triggers in the same direction (buy and sell). In simulation mode in trade activity I see the trades but can't tell if more than one trades is sent in the same direction. Following are my settings. Any pointers would be much appreciated! * Allow Multiple Entries in the same direction is set to NO * Maximum position allowed (ln 20) is set to 2 *Support Reversals is set to NO * Allow Opposite Entry with Opposite position - YES *Reset Condition on new bar - NO Thanks! First, how do you conclude there are multiple orders in the same direction? There should not be based on this setting: Allow Multiple Entries in the same direction is set to NO
At any given moment, there should not be a Trade Position Quantity which is the result of more than one order. However, the Position could go to flat, and a Position can be established in the same direction after. This is completely normal. Mine is doing this as well. I have all of the above settings the same yet it is opening multiple trades at once. It worked well for hours and then in the middle of a backtest it began to do this, seemingly out of no where. |

I see the same issue in chart replay especially if i replay the same section of the chart multiple times. Multiple trades will open on the same signal on the replay chart. Does not happen in live trades. |
