Using 1635 and SC Data with complete CME package which includes CBOT and CBOTM
Using CQG
I am allowed to trade MWE (which trades on MGEX) by my FCM and I can get both real time data and historical data for it from CQG.

1. Symbol definition for MWE is not present in Sierra Chart for DTS CQG. I defined it manually and I now receive data for it from CQG
Symbol: F.US.MWE?##
Description: Spring Wheat Futures (MWE) - CBOTM
Historical: MW?## (is this correct?)
SC Data Symbol: MW?## (is this correct?)
I think MW is the right one, looked it up here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChart_RealTime_And_Historical_Symbols.php&SymbolsPage=Futures#cbotm

Could you maybe add this Symbol to your library, so that it is automatically available without having to add it manually?

2. As above, I am able to get data from CQG for this symbol, but not from Sierra Data (there is no [M] to be seen). I am not able to get any data for MK either when using "SC Data - All services"

I now get the [M] but no data, neither real time no historical.
To get any data at all I now have to disable the SC Data feed or use the software from CQG.

We have now added this symbol. Follow the instructions here to update the symbol settings:
Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings

Also this is not a Chicago Board of Trade symbol. It is a Minneapolis grain exchange symbol. If you want real-time data for this from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, we have to set up the Minneapolis grain exchange. We can do that but we just do not yet have that listed.

There is going to be a separate exchange fee for that.

Yes, I can confirm that the definition for this symbol can be received from your server.

To be honest with you, this is a bit surprising since:
1. MK is listed under CBOTM:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChart_RealTime_And_Historical_Symbols.php&SymbolsPage=Futures#CBOTM

2. In my User Control Panel under "Exchanges" I have selected "Full CME Group" and that is supposed to include data for CBOTM Symbols:

Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts
Market Depth Included: Yes
Symbols: CME, GBLX, CBOT, CBOTM, COMEX, CXMI, NYMEX, NYMI

Nonetheless, a bit more surprising is actually that I am not even able to get historical data from SC Data for this symbol, let alone real time data.

The corresponding Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed symbol is MW.

We do not maintain data for the Minneapolis grain exchange. We have not had any request for it until now. If you want us to do that, we can set this up over the next week.

If you want this particular CBOT symbol we can set this up:
Description: HRW Wheat mini-sized
Symbol: MK

First you better be clear on what you want. Best to consult with the exchange websites before posting anything further.

Ok, clear now.

What I want is data for "Hard Red Spring Wheat Futures" traded on MGEX under the ticker symbol "MWE" as seen here http://www.mgex.com/contract_specs.html

Somehow I linked "MWE" to "MK" instead of "MW" (as I originally posted) and I didn't double check, my bad.
(Edit: and that somehow is clear now, in the first post I wrote MW but the link is to the CBOTM symbols where there is only MK and no MW)

My FCM allows me to trade these futures (MWE) and I also get real time data from CQG, but their quality lacks compared to yours.
I do not necessarily need real time data, but quality historical data from you (SC Data) would be really really awesome.

OK just give us some time to work through this. We should be able to get this data off of the CME multicast feeds.

If you just require historical data, this is now set up. You will get historical data from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed for the current symbols and any future symbols for this market.

Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download".

Did you need just historical data? Or did you need real-time data for that symbol?

Historical is sufficient, but if I am not mistaken it should be under the CME group?
