SC software and spreadsheets is the most aggravating application and auto trading method I have every had to deal with. It is not stable at all.. I made the mistake of upgrading from version 1621 to version 1637 yesterday. Soon as I restarted SC and tried to use my spreadsheet autotrader, it was a totally cluster bust. It was no longer placing orders with the K and M cells stuck on "1" and will not enter a trade. No coding changes made or setting changes made. I knew right away, but too late that I had just screwed myself by updating to the latest version. I Enable the "Enhanced Auto Trade Signal Related Logging" to see why signals was being ignored No date shows up in the Trade Service Log. I immediately reverted back to version 1621, hoping everything would go back to working correctly. Nope, its still a cluster bust. Spreadsheet is still no longer placing orders with the K and M cells stuck on "1" and will not enter a trade. No date shows up in the Trade Service Log either. Auto Trading is enabled on the chart. For debugging: I tried setting the"Reset Condition on new bar" to Yes. K and M columns still never switch to back to zero. Tried "Signal Only On Bar Close" to Yes Still gets stuck on "1". Enable the "Enhanced Auto Trade Signal Related Logging". No date shows up in the Trade Service Log. I completely removed the formulas from the K and M column and enter a "0". Ran the chart a few bars and placed a "1" in the K column and still no trade placed and no data appears in the Trade Service Log. I was going to downgrade to version 1619 to see if that helped. However SC has removed all zip version lower then 1633 from the download page. https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SCZipInstallerList.php Let my spreadsheet destruction serve as a warning, do not try to improve on what is working correctly. If its working on your version, upgrade at your own peril. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2017-11-07 23:32:07

SC software and spreadsheets is the most aggravating application and auto trading method I have every had to deal with. If it does not meet your requirements, then use ACSIL instead of this comment. Refer to:Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL) The basic problem is you are probably trying to use Spreadsheet for things that are difficult to accomplish with Spreadsheets. It was no longer placing orders with the K and M cells stuck on "1" and will not enter a trade. No coding changes made or setting changes made. I Enable the "Enhanced Auto Trade Signal Related Logging" to see why signals was being ignored No date shows up in the Trade Service Log. For debugging: I tried setting the"Reset Condition on new bar" to Yes. K and M columns still never switch to back to zero. Spreadsheet Systems, Alerts and Automated Trading: Reset Condition On New Bar If the formula results all returning 1 as you are claiming, and that very well could be, then the issue is going to be with the formulas. It is extremely unlikely there is any malfunctioning in the Spreadsheets. If that were the case, then we would have to get your spreadsheet and look into it. But we would have to be convinced of a genuine problem but in your case we are not. I completely removed the formulas from the K and M column and enter a "0". Ran the chart a few bars and placed a "1" in the K column and still no trade placed and no data appears in the Trade Service Log.
