I have just subscribed to IQfeed historical data. Some of their symbols have back-adjusted continuous, and others are just continuous. If I select continuous futures - date adjusted from advanced tab 2, would this make any further adjustments to the data as displayed?

No, it would not. That setting does not affect IQ Feed symbols. Do not use the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Continuous Contract option with IQ Feed.
