+ 3) I tried to download historical tick data. I followed the manual - disconnected from current data feed, choosed "SC Historical Intraday Futures Data" from the rollover menu in Data/Trade Service Settings. I changed days to download to 900 just to be sure. Then I opened the New Intraday Chart with ctrl+I and as a File Name I wrote the expired month I wished to download. I wanted the NQ march contract from 2012 so I wrote "NQH12" and clicked ok. Then I got the message saying "download complete" but the screen remained black. So I pushed the 1M button from the menu and nothnig happened. I tried also other - 5,10,30, 1H and nothing. Then I clicked on Dly for daily chart and suddently I got the message Historical data download complete and it showed chart with daily bars. After that I clicked 1M and the chart loaded 1min bars for the whole contract month. Are those data tick data? I tried to switch to range bars and it seemed to load them correctly - if it would have been snap data, SC shouldn´t be able to construct range bars from them, right? EDIT: ...and I also noticed that SC changed the name of the file by deleting the "1" in the year code of the contract. For example, before it was NQH12 and now it is NQH2. Is this ok? 4) Can I merge these contract months in one continuos contract and then merge it with my real time chart, where I am connected to ZenFire? How do I do that? Some of these questions are outside the scope of our support. The Sierra Chart Historical Intraday Futures Data service has data back to 2006. We recommend waiting for the Sierra Chart real-time and historical CME data feed we plan to be offering in about 45 days for easy access to market data. NQH12 is not the correct symbol to use with the service you are using. It needs to to be NQH2.
