Hi,

I have been using SierraCharts in linux, and worked around the tradewindow bug by not closing the tradewindow or including it in a chart/tradedom.

With this new change of windows being destroyed when changing chartbooks, makes SierraChart almost unusable in Linux, because even when not closed or attached in a chart/tradedom, it now triggers the bug of the tradewindow in Linux.

What solutions there is or workarounds ? I would really like to continue using SierraChart in Linux.

Thanks.

What we can do is make this new feature an option.

Hopefully the Linux bugs will get fixed someday, but I guess "making destroying windows an option" is enough for me to continue using SierraCharts on Linux. I also don't have problems with memory usage and switch chartbooks alot, so not destroying and creating windows all the time will probably save a few cpu cycles.

Thanks!

For the time being we have released version 1613 which does not destroy chart Windows when they are hidden.

Use this version.
