Is there any reason why sc.GetChartSymbol() returns nothing when called inside the SetDefaults block?
(it is called for the hosting current chart)

Thanks.

We will solve this in the next release.

The problem though is if a study function in the sc.SetDefaults block is making a function call which is altering some variables in the chart, then that is going to affect the chart even before using OK/Apply on the Chart Studies window and that would be unexpected for the user.

Hi

I do understand your concern.

The question whether you are going to enable all passive APIs (i.e. read-only APIs) in the SetDefaults block
or just the API in the subject?

I think the documentation needs to be updated for ALL APIS - to indicate which are blocked during SetDefaults block.
The reason I asked is since documentation didn't reflect it.

what will be the next release number? 1610 ? 1611 ?

Thanks.
