Is there any reason why sc.GetChartSymbol() returns nothing when called inside the SetDefaults block? (it is called for the hosting current chart) Thanks. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2017-09-16 20:09:15

We will solve this in the next release. The problem though is if a study function in the sc.SetDefaults block is making a function call which is altering some variables in the chart, then that is going to affect the chart even before using OK/Apply on the Chart Studies window and that would be unexpected for the user. Hi I do understand your concern. The question whether you are going to enable all passive APIs (i.e. read-only APIs) in the SetDefaults block or just the API in the subject? I think the documentation needs to be updated for ALL APIS - to indicate which are blocked during SetDefaults block. The reason I asked is since documentation didn't reflect it. what will be the next release number? 1610 ? 1611 ? Thanks. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2017-09-18 07:02:53
