I'm building a clean installation of Windows XP (with POSReady updates) dedicated to running SC and IB TWS (all other tasks are done in Linux Lite and Arch Linux on another machine). I have the following components shown in the old installation: Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition with SP1 According to the release log the last versions of SC compiled to support Windows XP are: 1504 1547-1563 Which VC++ Runtime should be used with SC versions shown above? I can see the following runtimes available: 2005 2008 2010 2012 2013 2015/2017 I realize that SC is primarily tested on Windows 7 but I have more experience with XP, a switch over to Win7 is on to-do-later list. |

The current Sierra Chart versions still do support Windows XP and there are no redistributables required. There is nothing special to do here.
