There are times when I go to close out my position and I get a message that says the order breaks limits. If I want to get out right away, rather than use the flatten button I prefer to use the 'buy ask' or 'sell bid' buttons as I find that I don't get slipped this way. If I am doing this with the same number of contracts that I have open then why am I getting this alert and is there a way around this? Thanks.

First cancel the existing orders before submitting the new order.
