I noticed tonight when I tried to go over today's action with "Replay Chart" that it was extremely laggy. I don't remember it being like this the last time I used it.

Please take a look at the attached .gif.

Thanks

Any update on this? I would really like to use this feature, but it's useless in it's current state.

I'm attaching another .gif to show how laggy it is. I'm on the most current pre-release 1589.

Thanks

We do not understand what you are trying to show.

There is no problem with the replay functionality. If it does not meet your requirements then do not use it.

We will not get involved with this because there is no problem whatsoever with replay.

If the lag you are referring to is within a second, we definitely cannot help with that, but it might be related to how time stamping is done and that will be improved upon in the next 2 to 3 months.

If the market depth data is out of sync with the last trade prices, then we may or may not be able to help with that.

I notice you're using "Standard Replay" mode.
You might want to try "Calculate at every tick/trade" mode and see if that works better for your purposes.

I find that mode works better for me.
I set the processing step to 1 second.
Contrary to the warning, I've had no problem at all with high CPU usage, even though my chartbook has 10 charts, with many studies on each chart.
