Hi,

Is there a way I can test and make sure the "held at server side" is functioning as it should?

Also, are there any conditions under which an auto placed protective stop upon order fill would somehow get cancelled?

E.g. my computer, internet and/or SC platform fails?

Noticed from a prev post:

You say: "Server-side bracket orders are not supported with CQG FIX. They are managed client-side."

Is this old info or did I miss smt?

Refer to this section about this:
Attached Orders: Management of Attached Orders when Trading Service Supports Server Side Bracket Orders

Not sure exactly what you mean. When a Stop order is filled, why would it be canceled?

Server-side Bracket orders are supported with CQG FIX and you are looking at old information.

Ok

When I am filled on a position, I wish to have a protective stop loss order placed automatically (here "attached order" functionality w a simple stop and no target seems reasonable(?)).

My concern is that this protective stop loss order might get cancelled when I'm still in a position (due to e.g. platform/pc/internet fail)

Is such an order held at server?

You write: "If you have just a single target or a single stop and not a corresponding stop or target, then there is no OCO group."
Attached Orders: Management of Attached Orders when Trading Service Supports Server Side Bracket Orders

Does this have any implications as to whether my auto placed protective stop loss order is held at server or not?

In response to post #5, refer to:
Attached Orders: General Management of Attached Orders
Attached Orders: Management of Attached Orders when Trading Service Supports Server Side Bracket Orders

An attached Order will be canceled at the end of the day if it is a Day order. And not a Good till Canceled order.

Yes it does. How it will work is explained here:
