Hi. I am using the below alert condition on the Color Background Based on Alert Condition on a 5 minute chart.

=OR(C>ID14.SG1+(2*TICKSIZE),C<ID14.SG1-(2*TICKSIZE))

ID14.SG1 is the POC from the Volume Value Area Lines study. I attached a screenshot of the settings.

Why am I receiving the below log messages?

In order for us to test this, we need to get chart number 13. Follow the instructions here to provide that:

We cannot reproduce the error and really it does not make sense why it is occurring to begin with.

It is harmless though.

Since you are using custom studies, we want you to restart Sierra Chart into safe mode. Follow the instructions here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/LoginInstructions.php#UsingSafeMode

See if these error messages go away after that.

Hi. Sorry for the delayed response. I did not have the opportunity to use SC until yesterday. I was able to use the charts without any errors the entire day. Today, however, is a different story.

After starting my computer for the morning, I fired up SC and was immediately hit by the errors. After restarted SC in safe mode, no errors were being reported. Started my charts back up and errors are reporting every 15 minutes.

While the errors may be harmless, the popup is annoying. Is there a way to at least disable to logging message that pops up? I do not want it to come to the foreground.

Thanks.

There is no way to disable the logging but it stops after 100 lines.
