Hi, I'm currently accessing the volume in my custom Study using : sc.Volume[sc.Index]
Data provider is FXCM. How do i know which volume am I getting ? i read somewhere that FXCM provide : 1) Tick Volume - Number of ticks in x period 2) Transaction Volume - Number of trades in x period 3) Real Volume - Amount of currency traded in x period Can I access to other volume ? Thanks for your help. Regards, |

This is fully documented here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SCRealTimeFOREX.php#VolumeData This is what it is: 1) Tick Volume - Number of ticks in x period
There is no other volume data that we are able to access from FXCM using the connection we use. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Okay thank you very much for the documentation. I have 2 other charts with US Stocks (Sc Data / All) and European Stocks (Teletrader/Euronext). Do you know where I can found informations about the volume ? |

Volume from these exchanges is going to be the actual traded volume in shares. There is little doubt about that.
