Hello, I seem to have a wrong setting. the daily chart is fine but when use a lower time frame this what I get: second screen shot http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1495854227514.png daily chart http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1495854420176.png 4H chart Is there some adjustment that I can make so that shorter time frames will populate the screen? Thank you |

Do not use the Point and Figure study. Instead use the Point and Figure Bars Bar Period Type iin Chart Settings. Refer to the documentation here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ChartSettings.html#TimePeriodPerBar The most important thing to do is to use a small box size. Not sure what you mean by 'don't use p and f' study. Use p&f bars. do you mean p and f ophlc bars? this is still not right notice the screen shot the bars are bunched on the left of the screen http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1495908192226.png http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1495908976347.png the daily screen is better but no better than pf x and 0 http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1495908712806.png http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1495909009877.png I would also like to know why the x and 0 does not work. This what I am familiar with. Will the x and 0 give a false reading? has Scierra any plans improve this? Thank you, charlie |

In the case of Intraday data, increase the amount of data in the chart. Refer to: Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Downloading/Viewing More Historical Intraday Data That should solve the problem. Not sure what you mean by 'don't use p and f' study. Use p&f bars. What we are referring to is the Bar Period Type >> Point and Figure Bars in Chart >> Chart Settings.I would also like to know why the x and 0 does not work.
